The National School of Artificial Intelligence (ENSIA) is in the new technology park of Sidi Abdellah in the western suburbs of Algiers. ENSIA aims to be an institution of excellence for higher education, with the purpose of educating engineers specializing in the theory and practice of artificial intelligence and data sciences. ENSIA graduates will be able to develop and deploy practical and innovative solutions to the problems of the various socio-economic sectors including health, energy, agriculture and transport, thus contributing to the scientific and economic development of the country.

Its mission folds into three:

• Enable engineers with solid foundations in mathematics, a deep theoretical understanding of the different techniques of artificial intelligence and the world of entrepreneurship, and practical and general skills that will make them attractive to employers.
• Address the lack of researchers and specialists in data science, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, computer vision, automatic language processing, and speech processing.
• Meet real needs in transdisciplinary higher education and scientific research by applying and developing new artificial intelligence techniques in various disciplines such as energy, agriculture, health, security, etc.
